 Just starting out in Thomas Wooden railway.... ?

There are lots of wooden choices that ARE compatible with one another....

Early Engineers (18 months plus), Thomas Talking Railway and Thomas Wooden Railway, are all compatible on one anothers track.

It is part of the Wooden Railway, but Sir Topham Hatt and selected Talking Railway destinations talk to the Engine Recognition Technology (ERT) Vehicles as they go by. The new range of vehicles have (ERT) after their name.  These vehicles look identical to the normal Thomas wooden railway engines, but they have gold coloured magnets instead of silver coloured. If we are out of stock of a particular wooden vehicle, check out the ERT section, as we may have the same vehicle character there, and on normal wooden Thomas Track, they work exactly the same.
