A must buy for all children

I did not realise the implications of a Thomas & Friends Take Along Main line set, when I bought one for my grandson's 2nd birthday. The advantages are numerous: 1. It has been a marvelous learning tool to help teach him: a. playtime b. taking turns both with the players and with the engines around the track. c. Colours and names (of the various engines) d. Imagination and moving pieces around for alternative options. 2. It has helped with his fine motor skills by putting the track together and manouvering the engines and carriages. 3. It is great to be able to add extra larger pieces at birthdays, Christmas and other major celebrations. 4. Individual engines and carriages are a price which can be given for small treats throughtout the year. 5. I now know that this is truly a gift which will be played with for many a year and can be "collected" into adulthood.
