BRIO - Flying Scotsman Range


The Flying Scotsman completed the first non-stop Longon to Edinburgh run on May 1st 1928-392 miles in 8 1/4 hurs. In 1934 it became the first steam locomotive to record a fully authenticated speed of 100 miles per hour. This historic locomotive was acquired by the National Railway Museum, York, UK in 2004 and forms part of the National Collection.
